Gloucester Cultural Initiative (GCI) is a new non-profit with an inclusive mission to enhance the cultural vitality of Gloucester, Massachusetts.

The GCI has been formed as the culmination and continuation of the work of the Gloucester Arts and Culture Initiative (GACI), a two-year program of research into how to bring Gloucester to a position of state and national leadership in its civic support of Arts and Culture, by adapting best principles to the particulars of this City. The GACI program was founded by three Gloucester arts groups with Adams Program funding from the Mass Cultural Council.
